  1. Sorry to come back to this but I've had to switch to using the 1.12.2 version of forge because 1.7.10 is not supported I just found out. I'm having the same issue but with asm-all 5.2 not downloading, I cannot remember where the video was I saw on here that fixed it
  2. Soorry come back but I am having another problem with forge, I apparantly cant use the recommended version because the min required one for the mods is after that one. So I went and did the same thing with the newest version and it said it installed 1614 on my launcher but when I go on its still the recommended version?
  3. Oh wow I didn't realize I installed the wrong one! Sorry for wasting everyone's time!
  4. Another update tried doing the java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar [name of the installer] command but got the same result as above Can anyone help?
  5. Update tried following a video a helpful person posted, their username was diesieben07 but when I did the last step this is what it said: C:\Users\chris\Downloads>java -jar forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1558-1.7.10-universal.jar We appear to be missing one or more essential library files. You will need to add them to your server before FML and Forge will run successfully.java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(Unknown Source) at java.lang.Class.forName0(Native Method) at java.lang.Class.forName(Unknown Source) at cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.ServerLaunchWrapper.run(ServerLaunchWrapper.java:25) at cpw.mods.fml.relauncher.ServerLaunchWrapper.main(ServerLaunchWrapper.java:12)
  6. I am trying to install forge 1.7.10 recommended version but it says these three files didn't install. It originally was a long list but I went and manually downloaded all the files individually including these three but still says it can't download them. Ones it cannot download: org.scala-lang.plugins:scala-continuations-library_2.11:1.0.2 org.scala-lang.plugins:scala-continuations-plugin_2.11:1.0.2 org.scala-lang.plugins:scala-xml_2.11:1.0.2 Think it might have something to do when I downloaded the files separately it only gave them to me as 2.11-1.0.2, not 2.11:1.0.2 I saw this post that was recommended on a few threads to do something with the jar file version but it literally made no sense to me and I couldn't figure it out.
