  1. Thank you! Seems we're all good now! I forgot I was trying to load older mods while troubleshooting. I went in and deleted all the .jar files in the mods directory and the game loaded using the forge version. Thank you again for your help and your quick replies!
  2. Hi DaemonUmbra! Thank you for your reply. I reverted back to Java 8 (see below) but the issues still persists. openjdk version "1.8.0_171" OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_171-8u171-b11-0ubuntu0.18.04.1-b11) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.171-b11, mixed mode) There is a debug.log file being generated this time thankfully and I've added it as well as the latest.log file to Pastebin via the links below. I also attached them here as files if that helps... debug.log file link: https://pastebin.com/TTFRrZG8 latest.log file link: https://pastebin.com/aPAZ3kLi debug.log latest.log
  3. Game is failing to launch when trying to use a Forge version. Upon launch, receiving "An unexepcted issue occurred and the game has crashed. we are sorry for the inconvenience" I've tried several older versions of Forge as well and still the game fails to launch with the same error message. I've checked the .minecraft/logs folder and there does not seem to be any relevant logs being generated. Only the "latest.log" file (and the backups) are created. There seems to be relevant information within the .minecreaft/launcher_log.txt file so I have included that there. Adding "latest.log" file too just in case. Note: I am running this on Kubuntu 18.04 Java Information: openjdk version "10.0.1" 2018-04-17 OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 10.0.1+10-Ubuntu-3ubuntu1) OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 10.0.1+10-Ubuntu-3ubuntu1, mixed mode) launcher_log.txt latest.log
