  1. It worked! Thank you so much! Great help. Im new to forge forums, is there any way I can give you a good rating on here? You were such a great help!
  2. Are you saying I should turn Game Directory off and then it will work?
  3. Hello, yesterday I have received a MacBook Pro 13" (macOS High Sierra, version 10.13.6, Late 2011, 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5, 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB.) as a gift from my mother. I downloaded Minecraft yesterday and decided to play Minecraft with a mod. But first I had to get forge-1.12.2-14.23.4.270, I needed to download JurassiCraft-1.12.2-2.1.14.jar (The mod I want to use) and it required Llibrary-1.7.15-1.12.2.jar. I download and installed Java 8 and Forge. I opened up the forge profile and chose "release 1.12.2-forge1.12.2-14.23.4.2705". I went to /Users/MyUserInfo/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods. In the mods folder, I dragged and placed the two mods which I've recently installed (JurassiCraft and Llibrary) into that folder. As soon as I thought I was set and ready to go and enjoy the mod, I press the Arrow button next to the Folder Icon in Minecraft Launcher>Launch Options>Game Directory bar. It then presented a message saying the following, "PLEASE NOTE: Could not open the game directory. Please make sure the folder path is valid: /Users/MyUserInfo/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods". I went to Minecraft's "mods folder" and out of the blue it generated the following folders: config, logs, mods, resource packs, and saves, along with both of my mods included. Notice that all those folders were already in the "Minecraft folder". I deleted those folders that were within the mods folder, I left the two mods placed in the mods folder because it has to. I exit out, I start the game thinking it would have worked. Surprisingly, when the game opened with the forge Intro, none of the mods I've downloaded (JurassiCraft and Llibrary) were in the game. I went to go check my mods folder again, and again that folder has generated the SAME folders which I have deleted before (I dragged the folders to the trash and emptied the trash). Yet again the Launch option still tells me every time the same thing, "PLEASE NOTE: Could not open the game directory. Please make sure the folder path is valid: /Users/MyUserInfo/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods". I am in the official JurassiCraft discord server and all the developers are confused due to my unique issue. They state that "this has never happened to anyone else, make sure the mods in mods folder are alone and don't have anything else..." and thats exactly what I kept doing but the mods folder keeps generating more folders within itself. How do I make sure the folder path is valid? Why can't forge start the game ALONG with the mods I have downloaded which are already in the mods folder? Please if anyone can help me because I have been so stressed about this lately and I can not stand frustration. Yes, I already deleted minecraft entirely and downloaded it all over again to see if that would work, it did not. Thank you!
