    I have been having this problem recently where every time I change my texture pack or certain video settings, I just crash with next to no delay. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling forge and minecraft. I tried running forge without any mods. None of those work. I even did a full PC reset and only installed Java, Minecraft and Forge. I still ended up having the same issue. I use the Forge 1.8.9 recommended version. (I also tried the latest verion)
