    thank you, this fix worked. i uninstalled every instance of java on my pc using the uninstaller on the website, then downloaded the recommended version (offline 64bit). thank you for your quick responses

    I just recently learned how to create and host my own server to play with some friends on vanilla minecraft servers, and it works perfectly everytime. But whenever I try to launch the forge.jar file to load mods onto my server, it does not launch at all, so none of the folders I need can be created. I've tried creating a .bat file to increase allocated ram and also see the error messages command prompt gives me, but I couldn't find an answer to this problem anywhere. I really hope someone can help me soon. cmdservererror.txt
