I use to play tekkit and it was way more simpler to play , I just what the item menu on the left and the mini map on the top right ?

https://files.minecraftforge.net/ when I launch the forge profile I see the mods on the bottom left but when I create a new game it doesn't seem like it has any mods at all , I've been watching YouTube videos of galactic craft and in their versions they have a mini map at the top left and when they are in inventory they have all of the items on the right side where they can search items and stuff...

I followed the steps in downloading I installed Forge- 1.12.2 I installed the 3 mods and added them into the mod folder but I seem to be having an issue when creating a new game , it doesnt show any of the items on the right hand side nor it doesn't show the mini map at the top , please help !!!
