  1. Ok i found a Temporary Solution: This Guide is on your own Risk!!! 1) Install XAMPP or another Webserver 2) Start the server 2) Download the scala JAR i attached here[EDIT: search your own version.. the forum doesn't allow a working jar file] and put it into the "htdocs" folder under "/maven/org/scala-lang/scala-compiler/2.11.1/" 3) Test Download your own scala File with the link "http://localhost/maven/org/scala-lang/scala-compiler/2.11.1/scala-compiler-2.11.1.jar" 4) Now go into the folder : Windows/System32/drivers/etc/ and open the File "hosts" with Admin rights. 5) Append the Line and Save: 127.0.0.1 files.minecraftforge.net 6) Retry the installation.. now the launcher will download your local file instead of the mincraftforge version until it get fixed.. Remeber to remove the line in the hosts file, after downloading!!!!
  2. Hello, i have problems installing a Tecnic Launcher Modpack, because of the minecraftforge Files server closing my connection. The problematic file is : http://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/org/scala-lang/scala-compiler/2.11.1/scala-compiler-2.11.1.jar I tested it with different PCs and friends tested it too.. only one person can download that file. Are there some Server problems for the last 2 hours? Is there a way to provide the file manualy ? i have the .jar file in another mod pack. thx for help, Nadeo
