    you need to allocate more ram to Minecraft, this will make your game run a lot faster do this by enabling jvm arguments in your launch settings and put the following: -Xmx6G -Xms6G -Xmn768m this will allow Minecraft to use 6 gb of ram, running the game A LOT faster.

    im getting this same issue on 1.12.2 a scanned structure of my own, fairly large structure but no taller than cloud height stops responding and wont go back, closing out the program leads to an unexpected crash with no report. i go back, the world works but my structure did not place. i then scan a small village house, attempt to place it, same problem
