  1. Ok it wasnt making any logs, but after running another program(steam game) and waiting(roughly 1 hour) for some reason its launched fine and is working. I have no idea how or why its working, i hope no one gets this problem since there doesnt seem to be a fix it just started working. It was most likely a java - internet problem on my end. But that problem is somehow resolved, my log from running is fine, it installed correctly without issue.

  3. I check my firewall, it wasn't blocking this application.
  4. Ok to put it simply the windows installer (the .exe file not the .jar universal) is not launching. For any forge install version ranging from 1.12.2 recommend/newest and 1.12.1-1.10. I have attempted to launch it both in administration and not. I have done a complete reinstall of minecraft and java separately. I believe it to be a java error since this started with my 1.12.2 forge (which installed fine a week ago) not being able to create a java virtual machine, ive also done many fixes for that ranging from putting in new system variables to doing complete reinstall. Now i thought this was a java issue, but after some testing the only time it doesn't work is with installing forge. Without java installed, i get a prompt from the forge installer that i dont have a java runtime, but with one installed i get nothing. I dont get anything on task manager, and the only feedback that it tried is a mouse pointer loading spin. I do not know how to find crash logs for the installer since it doesnt seem to be a minecraft problem.
