    Adding Capes to a Mod?

    Hi I am pretty much completely new to forge and I have started working on a mod. I would like to make capes for the people who contribute to it but don't know how, I have found tutorials on the internet but they are outdated by several years. I know it must be possible because I have seen it done in other mods. Any help would be appreciated.
