  1. *Update* Fixed it. The Twitch app was trying to run it on a different version that I did not have, nor could I download. Thanks for the help.
  2. Java 8 Also, Java 8 is the LATEST version there is no Java 9 or newer. (On my system at least)
  3. I am using Java 8
  4. I installed it form the files page on this site and used the installer. Opened up Minecraft, made sure it was under the Forge configuration. When trying to load in the mod it comes up with this error / output: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM warning: Ignoring option PermSize; support was removed in 8.0 Exception in thread "main" java.lang.ClassCastException: class jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader cannot be cast to class java.net.URLClassLoader (jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader and java.net.URLClassLoader are in module java.base of loader 'bootstrap') at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.<init>(Launch.java:34) at net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch.main(Launch.java:28)
  5. No mods will work for me. They are compatible and are the right version. I try to load it up, but it will only load the 4 default mods. What is going wrong? I am on a Mac
