    I made the txt file that included the code on the Minecraft website. Saved it as .bat and ran that. I changed the text in the file to match the file name. Then every time to start it I just run the .bat file

    I am trying to make a modded server for Minecraft 1.12.2. I have downloaded all the server files and forge and what not but when i run everything the mods folder containin the mods_list.json file does not appear. Any idea what I'm doing wrong? I tried just making a folder called mods and searching for the contents of the mods_list.json file online thinking that that would work but i couldn't find it's contents anywhere. Edit: the mod is pixelmon reforged. It works when i play singleplayer. The custom overlay for the mod is there when I join the multiplayer server but nothing else is working. Right now I just have a folder called mods that i created and put the mod into without it conatining the "mod_list.json" file.
