Even in the updated version it keeps crashing. In 1.12.2 that's why I believed downgrading was the solution. I really want to use this mod but can't at the moment cause it keeps crashing.

I just bought minecraft and afterwards I got forge. I wanted to have the mod Not Enough Items, and I have all of it's dependencies but it keeps crashing when i go to play on any version. I've tried the 1.12.2 version followed by the 1.11.2 version thinking it was just a bug in the newer one.
