    Thank you for replying, honestly I have never made a mod so I don't know how to go about it... so further research will be needed for me to make a mod,,, if it was an easy/quick project for someone who knows how to make mods for minecraft 1.12.2 then it would save me a lot of time

    Hiya, I'm looking at creating a 1.12.2 mod-pack for a charity stream, it would be building in a desolated desert world (hopefully)... I would like to create a small mod that allows the user to shift right-click a designated block and have it give an item, in this instance it would be shift right-clicking sand and giving Ex Nihilo stones. This is similar to shift-right clicking dirt/grass in Botania mod which gives pebbles. Is there a simple way to do this? does it even need a full mod? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is in the wrong place...
