    Minecraft.getMinecraft().world.getTileEntity returns null every time

    Hi, every time I call Minecraft.getMinecraft().world.getTileEntity to get a tile entity at a given location ( in this case a sign ), then it returns null. , and the position is given using event.getPos() given by the event BlockEvent.PlaceEvent I've already tested and verified that PlaceEvent IS called when the sign is placed.
