I recently started a forge server for 1.13.2 with NO mods. (Basically a vanilla server). Everyone else playing was not using forge the only one using forge was me. One of my friends decide to plant nether wart in the over world but was unable to. Then we all decided to try and plant the nether wart (2 people without forge, 1/me with forge) the 2 people without forge weren't able to place the nether wart on the soul sand and the item count went down each time they tried to plant it, also the nether wart look like it was about to be planted but just disappeared. I tried to plant the nether wart on soul sand of course, but i wasn't able to at all,it didn't even appear. The item count this time for me did NOT go down. One of my friends also tried to brew potions (make an awkward potion) but nothing happened it stayed as a water bottle. Later i tired to plant nether wart in a single player vanilla world using forge but it was the exact same thing i wasn't able to. Please help or solutions. P.s: The item count for the 2 non forge users went back to the original amount a few movements after.
