    [1.13.2] Client on screen text rendering

    First off, I'm not new to programming and currently am a CS student working primarily with Java. However, I have no experience with Forge modding. Basically I want to add things to be displayed, such as armor status, direction, and status effect on screen client side with Forge and maybe update some of my favorite mods from 1.7.10 to 1.13.2 I can't find any good resources for doing this in 1.13.2 and was wondering if one of yall could point me in the right direction. I'd prefer reading documentation and source code over watching youtube videos if that's at all possible. Thanks, Crick
