  1. Thank you all for giving me your time and support! This has helped me so much, and I'm excited to be able to play modded worlds again after so long. I'm glad I can rely on such an intelligent community that prioritizes their users!
  2. I am using FireFox. It did mention that the file may potentially harm my computer while I was downloading. I have smart-screen set to warn, so I don't think it would've blocked the download. It did show a small yellow circle next to the file when downloading it. I just tried to download the Windows Installer and clicked an arrow so now I actually downloaded it correctly. When I tried to use it however, it says "This application requires a Java Runtime Environment 1.8.0" and then takes me to the Java Download page for version 8 update 211. Aren't all Java Runtime versions past version 8 update 111 incompatible with Forge? Thanks for the assistance!

  4. The forge installer "forge-1.12-14.21.1.2387-installer-win" will not run. Even if I try to run as administrator, it will say "This app can't run on your pc", despite it being the Windows Installer of Forge and I'm using Windows 10. I have run Minecraft before, and have used forge in the past, the version I've last used is the Minecraft 1.10 release. In the Minecraft launcher the 1.10 release works fine. I need assistance so I can play a modded 1.12 game. Thanks. I can provide more details if needed.
