    Turns out I'm not an idiot. I downloaded the newest version Forge and the log still says that I'm using version 14.23.3.2655.

    Hello, I have the latest version of Forge installed (1.12.2 - 14.23.5.2836) as well as CodeChicken Lib and Not Enough Items. However, whenever I load Minecraft, the game reports that forge is missing for those 2 mods.
