well fucking shit. I had this system where I would put mods I'm not using into a separate folder within the mod folder. Apparently being in there is what cause my game to crash. please don't follow in my footpring. TIFU by keeping a buggy version of Xaero's worldmap for many months.

I really wanna play minecraft forge in 1.12.2 since it has MANY mods available for it. But my issue right now is the fact that It always crashes on startup, and I have never been able to solve this problem. From removing every mod, to updating my version of jave. I tried using older versions of 1.12.2 forge, and even disabling the discord overlay (I heard that this causes issues). No such luck.
