  1. So I quit minecraft months ago, and I recently came back. I decided I wanted to get all of the mods I had when a played before I quit. I redownloaded everything like world edit for 1.8.9 (I didn't have this before I quit, I heard about it when I joined back.), optifine, shaders and a cape mod. (I was gonna download forge after I had downloaded all of the mods) And I ran into an issue. The minecraft launcher says "it looks like you are using an unsupported modified version of the game." And now its not letting me load up 1.8.9 forge. I also tried deleting the forge download and reinstalling it, i even tried resetting my entire laptop (because I thought it was a file that had messed this up) and still nothing work. I didn't have this issue when I used to play. But like n ow I do? What can I do to fix this? Please help.
