    1.13.2 won't work with Optifine

    Hello. I just attempted to download Optifine 1.13.2 and use it with Forge 1.13.2, but Forge fails to recognize it as a mod. I installed Optifine and then put it in the mods folder, and then when opening minecraft Forge notified me that "OptiFine_1.13.2_HD_U_E7.jar" is not a valid mod file. I heard this was an issue with compatibility on Optifine's end, but that was back in February. It is now May and both have 1.14 versions out, so I'm a little confused as to why this isn't working? Are they still incompatible? Apologies if this is in the wrong place or I need to add something, I read the rules but I don't understand some things. Thanks for any help.
