    I just install it at the Minecraftforge.net website. Some versions work but others like 1.12.2 will not

    So whenever i start minecraft forge 1.12.2 it quickly loads then crashes and says an unexpected issue has occurred sorry for the inconvenience, so that happened a couple times. then now when i go to the minecraft launcher, the 1.12.2 play button says launch failed, the version you are trying to play inherits properties from an unknown version, and wont even load now. I have no mods for 1.12.2 and I don't know whats wrong, i appreciate any help!
