    Cant craft non-vanilla items

    Hey, I have a 1.7.10 server, where I play modded minecraft with some mates of mine. When in the game I cant actually craft any of the items, they come up in the ouput slot, but I cant get them out, however in creative I can?! Ive seen some people say run the minecraft jar, and not the minecraft_server - but im not sure what this means, or where to find the minecraft jar. This is my current mod pack, Could anyone help?
