I think it was crashing because it had to load too many mods (like 8 mods 2 of which were core mods) and the fact that I am on a 5 year old Dell laptop doesn't help it load

Ok I just removed all my mods from the mods folder and the game didn't crash so I am sorry for wasting your time

when i try to startup a server or world the game crashes this started happening back when i was using 1.8 forge as well.
