    ahh the reason the lists aren't the same is I deleted a few of the files in versions but you have to manually delete them in the launcher too which I didn't do and the badlion client writes to versions but obv doesn't show up in the normal launcher anyway i tried installing the 'latest forge' for 1.12.2 instead of the 'recommended forge' and it worked. idk why it didnt work before

    i'm using the official mojang launcher and it's not to do with the client, forge itself does not appear

    I urgently need forge to work for a dupe on 2b2t right now, but it refuses to install. A while ago I had installed forge for 1.8.9 and 1.7 and it worked fine but now it just doesn't install for 1.12.2. idk if it's to do with the new new new launcher from Mojang but it just installs to versions but not showing in launcher, i tried making a custom profile also doesnt show up
