    Forge won't launch (auto-create shortcut and whatnot)

    it's lobster time posted a topic in Support & Bug Reports
    After a really long time, I've decided to pick up Minecraft again but I can't really do much modding without Forge. The problem is when I download Forge it is a 7zip file and doesn't do anything. I mean if you look at tutorials all of their Forge downloads automatically create a shortcut and aren't 7Zip but java icon files. What are they using to download launch Forge and how do I get it? pls help haha
