  2. I'm assuming that since 1.8.9 Forge is extremely old and isn't suppored anymore, there won't be any fix. Regardless, here's my issue. After testing with 4 different computers and several different ways to play Minecraft, I've come to the conclusion that when you use any version of 1.8.9 Forge and there are dropped enchanted items on the ground (potions, swords, armour, etc.) the client's FPS drops a lot. I've tested this by loading a single player bedrock only flatland world and pressing F3 for fps. I get an average fps and note it. I then fill my inventory full of potions and drop them on the ground. I note the FPS again. Only while using Forge 1.8.9 does the FPS drop. Using Vanilla, Optifine, or a custom client such as Badlion Client or Cosmic Client doesn't drop my FPS at all when i repeat the same test. I've also tested it using several different versions of 1.8.9 Forge, from the recommended to the latest. I was wondering if there's an potential fix inside of the forge cfg, or any other tweak I can do to completely fix this. If anyone is genuinely interested in this, since its an old version, I can make a video showing results if you are really interested. Thank you
