    Alright, my machine already had java 8 on it, switched to that and now at least forge works. Thanks!

    I'm currently using Java 11.0.3. Do I need to use exactly one of those versions?

    here are the debug logs Using the latest minecraft and latest minecraft forge. I'm on linux (ubutnu 18.04 LTS), there are no mods installed. When ever I try to launch minecraft (forge 1.14.3-forge-27.0.57) through the launcher I get this: Game crash while loading Forge I'm not familiar enough with Java to understand the messages that are reported in the debug logs. If there is any more info I need to share just let me know. Thanks
