    Wants to run different client

    OK so ive had forge before and it has worked perfectly that was about 2 years ago but now ive gotten back into mine craft and tried to play on forge again and it load everything but the top figue it get 1/7 than stops it than goes to a blank screen and crashes saying that my client does want to run in 1.8.9 it wants to run in 1.8.8 so i downloaded 1.8.8 and it just crashes and wont work. When it goes blank it shows this "forge mod loader has found a problem with your mine craft installation the mod listed below does not want to run in mine craft version 1.8.9 Lunatriouscore ( lunatriouscore) wants mine craft [1.8,1.8] The file Fml Clients hold more information That is what it tells me i uninstalled it and re installed it and still doesn't work please help me with this issue
