    Nevermind. Restarted my computer and it works fine. Sorry for the fuss! Thanks for assisting.

    Yes. Opened the launcher, started a new world, closed the game and the launcher, then tried installing Forge.

    I'm actually having the same issue. Yes it is the most recent version of Forge.
