    can i download forge 1.12 with the new launcher?

    i really dont know what to do, or how any of this works, and i read the texts i saw that you were supposed to read before posting anything. id like to be able to use mods from game version 1.12.2, so i changed the version in the launcher, so next is to download forge 1.12.2 right? will i be able to use that version with the most recent launcher and version? if i change versions to 1.12.2 in the installation options? thank you
