Is there any way to permanently remove all squids; vanilla, modded, cheats or anything else?

Thanks. Will they still spawn after I use this cheat?

I used to play Minecraft Java Edition on my old computer, using the same Mojang account as I do now. I spent hours making a lot of very detailed worlds. However, that computer crashed about 18 months ago, so badly that we still can't get into it. I got Minecraft on this computer but all of my worlds were gone. I am still really upset that they are gone, does anyone know any way I can retrieve them?

I don't think this is the right place for it, but I have only just created this account. Please excuse me if this is incorrect. Is there is a way to remove unwanted mobs, if it's through a mod or anything else? I want to get rid of squids because there's something about them that's really freaky and I just really don't like them. I tried the Bad Mobs mod, but that is outdated and won't work. I also tried /gamerule doMobSpawning false, but mobs spawn almost immediately after I have loaded a new world.
