  1. I fixed it, none of the mods from the other sites were the issue, it was just two broken mods. Thanks for the link though Ugdhar, I'll be sure to use it in the future!
  2. Most of them came from curseforge, although I did get some of them from a different site called minecraftmodz.com for a while.
  3. Whenever I try to load up the game, it lets me onto the launcher just fine, and it gets past the initial loading screen just fine, but it only opens the second loading screen for a second or two and then crashes. In the spoiler tag is the crash log. If there's any more information you need to help me, such as maybe what mods I'm attempting to use, I'll give it to you. I've already updated to the most recent version of forge for 1.14.4
  4. Thank you for your help, it worked!
  5. With mods, it's the only reason why I got Forge.
  6. Just tried the newest version, same thing happened except a program called FML early loading process shows up between the launcher phase and the startup phase of the game. Here's the crash report, idk if it's changed at all.
  7. I just downloaded it a few days ago, has a new version come out since then?
  8. So, what happens when I try to launch Minecraft... I hit play, the window closes as usual, it takes a bit to get the actual game window up and running which I think is also typical. But immediately after the game opens up, it crashes, the launcher reopens, and I'm met with this message: The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException I looked in the common problems part of the EAQ to research and didn't find my problem there, I don't know any other way I could research the issue, so that is all I've done. This is the crash report in its entirety:
  9. There ,is no log file so I can't tell you the issue. We've tried getting a fresh launcher, updating his Java, and even fixing his Java. This: is all that I can show you, but what I do know is that it gets completely done with installing everything, and then the launcher crashes and he still doesn't have forge as a minecraft version. This is on my friend's computer. If I'm somehow missing the log file, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me where it is, but I followed the instructions outlined in the rules and I still can't find it. Thank you all for your help!
