    If forge is not meant to be on the old version, thats fine and ill stop trying.

    Yes, ive tried many times to get minecraft to work on the new version of the launcher but it doesnt. It works on the old version.

    Im having exactly the same problem, im using the old version of the launcher. Again, forge 1,12,2 shows up but not 1.14.4. Nothing appears in the drop down menu when making a new profile but i do see it in the versions folder.
