Hiya! I've been trying to run Forge 1.14.4, but any attempt at starting it results in a crash before the game window even opens. I tried multiple versions (28.0.29, 28, 24 and 01), all of which produce the same result. As a test I've tried the latest version for 1.14.3 as well but again, no difference. Forge 1.12.2, both the latest and recommended version work. My friends, who I am trying to play with, don't have any issues. It's a pretty new PC, only a few months old. Step by step of what I was doing: • Reinstalled both Minecraft and the official launcher. I made sure there weren't any minecraft related files left, so there are no mods. • Started the launcher and started the default newest version profile (1.14.4). • Downoaded the installer for Forge 1.14.4 - 28.0.24 from this very site and installed the client. • Restarted the launcher and set the directory for the new profile. • The game crashes with a genereic error message before it has a chance to open.
