  1. I "fixed" it by uninstalling all java versions I had and installing the 32 bit one only. I was able to install both Forge and Optifine from the jar itself. The website I downloaded Forge from is https://files.minecraftforge.net/
  2. From the official website. I did rename it after a while. It stil doesn't work if I use the correct name.
  3. Hi, I've been trying to install Forge just to use Optifine but I'm having issues. I'm using Java 8 u221 x64 and the same version SDK (tried uninstalling the sdk but it doesn't work). When I open the .jar installer it starts and after a second it closes with no message/error, and when for that second I cannot click anywhere in the installer, it does nothing. Things I've tried so far: Using older/newer versions of Java (never over Java Using only the SDK (8). Using Jarfix. Using java -jar <filename.jar> I get this when using the cmd one.. Then it starts and closes almost instantly. Edit: the .log file I get when using the cmd is the same as the picture above.
