    I installed the stable 1.12.2 version. After discovering the mod I want needs the latest version, I installed that and launched it. I could not see it in my launcher, so I removed all forge files from my minecraft folder and reinstalled the latest version. It showed the now deleted old version but refused to show the new version. Please help(if helpful, upon startin the old one, now deleted for the versions folder, it says "Unable to start game").
