  1. Yes, you'd think that's it! Which is why I have completely deleted all mc and mcf files from both, started with exactly the same builds of each, and tried again. same problem. at least 20 different times. That's why I am so puzzled and looking for help.
  2. I would truly appreciate any suggestions anyone has. Younger brother very sad.
  3. Thank you. I checked this. No, it does not. But the brother's does not either, and it works perfectly.
  4. Newer crash reports. Got a fresh .minecraft altogether. This time it just froze up before actually giving me the white text screen of death. MC crash report: Forge crash report
  5. Hi. I am writing here as a last resort, after posting on minecraftforum.net, under different topics, and then a consolidated topic, when I realized that the problem seems to be how one of the laptops interacts with Forge. So. My two sons have two identical Lenovo laptops. We own three copies of Minecraft. Last year for a few months we all played together on LAN and also played together with modded MC, in LAN, as well as on our own. Something changed after the version of Minecraft was released at the end of last year. It started happening that my older son's computer would run the mod great, but the other would not. Now, the younger son's laptop won't run even with Forge, standing alone. Vanilla minecraft runs great, but if we put Forge on it, it will load up and look like it's going to run...but if you try to actually open a world, it crashes. Here is the last post I created about it on minecraftforum.net, which did get some good ideas in response, but none that fixed the problem http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1594491-what-could-make-a-mod-work-on-one-computer-but-not-on-another-with-identical-minecraft-setups/ I think that this Forge issue may have been the problem all along, but it took me a long time to figure it out because typically I just open MC up (once forge is loaded in the .jar file) and then close it right down, without actually running one of the worlds with just Forge, before putting a mod in the mod file. Here is the latest crash report from when I tried this half an hour ago. I keep hoping that something will change with the latest update of MC or Forge and it will all work again. It is still fun to play but the younger son is sad he can't LAN with his brother with a modded system. Forge crash report Thanks for any help.
