    I have been installing newer / older versions of forge like I normally would, with the install button on the forge website. I had just gotten super annoyed and that's why I deleted the installation folder.

    I was trying to change my forge installation from 1.13.2 to 1.12.2 but even though i had downloaded the 1.12.2 installer it would not change from 1.13.2. I even tried completely deleting the 1.13.2 forge installation file, but that just made it so I couldn't run the installation at all and it's still stuck as 1.13.2. Before all I had to do to change the version was as I said download the installation of whatever version I now wanted. What should I do? Edit: I just tried re-downloading the 1.13.2 installation and it wont work either now
