I'm pretty sure i tried that, but im going to do it again. But if i they have my "public ip" do they need to add the :25565 at the end, or does that matter? Btw i did portfoward my server. Thank you for your reply!

Hi, i recently made a new server on minecraft forge 1.12.2. And it works fine, it is running form my pc the ip works and all that stuff. But there is 1 big problem, my friends cannot join, and i have done EVERYTHING i could, i have done the server port thing and turned of anti virus, i have spent hours looking through every single thing on the internet that could help, but nothing has worked. I can join my server with the ip address so i know that isnt wrong, my friends have the same versions of everything and i am 100% sure on that too. And i just dont know what to do, i just gave up. So my final hope is for u guys to help me! So please help me out with this, because i am so annoyed by this. Thank you for listening/reading
