  1. Well now i feel stupid... I just saw it as a list that kept going down in version, i never thought that the version might just be at the bottom of the list... Well thanks for helping me figure that out! And looks like 1.8.9 is down there, so maybe it IS still supported

  4. So I am trying to download version 1.11.2, and every time I download it, I run the jar. It extracts the libraries, and then says that Forge has been downloaded successfully. However when I open the launcher, the download isn't there. So I went to versions in the .minecraft folder and opened the folder for the version, and it has no .jar file, only .json. Whereas the ones that DO show up in the launcher have a .jar as well as .json. As a side note, I have a Mac. I posted the same thing in another forum, but with 1.8.9. I was told that it is not supported anymore, which makes sense. However that is probably not my issue. I am having the SAME issue with almost all other versions, except a select few. It also doesnt make sense that I can download and get 1.7.10 working, but not 1.8.9? I thought that that and all earlier were discontinued? If someone could give me real advice, that would be nice.
