    Can i have two verisons of forge downloaded at the same time?

    I already have Minecraft forge for 1.14.4 with downloaded mods (works perfectly fine). However, I wanted to have mods for 1.8.9 too. so I tried to download forge 1.8.9 and It told me it was successful are was in the launcher now, but I only found the forge 1.14.4. I also tried to delete forge 1.14.4, but it was still mentioned in the launcher even tho all it's files were deleted. and it just told me there was an error when I tried to launch it. please help
