I'm sorry. Making a new installation. I tried many times. I've looked up many tutorials and tips but nothing I've tried has worked but I will try it again.

I can't open the tab. The current version of forge that I installed is 1.12.2-forge1.12.2-14.23.5.2847

I've tried to open the version tab and to scroll done to choose the 1.12.2 but it won't let me open the tab.

I can't install minecraft forge 1.12.2. I can only get 1.14.4 but I don't want this version. I've tried several times to get the 1.12.2 version but it won't change. Yes I did set it to client. I didn't make any changes to it. It's all default. What am I doing wrong?
