Thank you, it’s almost funny however that that’s the first forge site that comes up. Also when I use the control panel nothing remotely comes up so I guess I’m just stuck with it.

I downloaded the 1.12.2 forge from this website: [removed link] When I downloaded the forge and installed it instead of installing it the installer simply installed unwanted software which I have no way of getting rid of after saying that it had installed forge which it hadn't. I need help on uninstalling the software and I'm also posting this to possibly give you some information on a false website.
