  1. I have it working now with multiMC, although if you would like later I could try it again and give you the log for debugging. I have been messing around with it for a good 2 hours though so I am going to take a break and actually enjoy the game
  2. I ran it with java 8; https://gyazo.com/d76b34a20133af08431cf21c66f02875 /usr/lib/jvm/java-8-openjdk-amd64/jre/bin/java -jar forge-1.14.4-28.1.0-universal.jar same problem though idk how to remove the outline, sorry, just highlight it. It works with multimc though
  3. (I believe this is the one; I have restarted with multimc, going to try this before going back)
  4. I am using linux and when running forge with the installer, (it installed fine) But when starting it in the client it would crash stating; An unexpected issue occurred and the game has crashed. We’re sorry for the inconvenience. I tried both the newest and recommended version both the same problem. Figured it was because the installer was for windows only.

  6. I got it directly from forge's website. I tried installing it with java -jar but im thinking the universal/source files are not meant to be installed that way. Currently getting multimc and going to try adding in forge with that

  8. I am trying to download forge for linux. Using the installer, it WORKS but forge crashes the second I start minecraft. Since it is linux I figured i needed either the universal or source folder, both files say; no main manifest attribute when I try to run it though. I have already tried running with admin as well as running it with java-8 since I read somewhere forge uses older versions of java.
