    Official forge website. We downloaded it the exact same way.

    It says “Error: Invalid or corrupt jarfile forge-1.14.4-28.1.10-installer.jar”

    My friend’s forge installation file on his computer says JAR File and mine says Executable Jar File. When I try to open his installation file the command prompt window opens for a split second then closes and nothing else happens. I don’t understand why it’s like this, can someone help me figure out how to fix it?
