and my friend still cant conect co it with the local ip

i tried all of that and for some reason it wont work. the command promp would come up and says "press any key to start" and then itll instantly close and not do anything

ok now theres one more problem. it is running really high like useing alot of memory how do i fix that? its extremely slow

well i have it loaded up i can see the consol right here i made sure to port forward n such im just not sure whats going wrong

do i put localhost in the ip adress in the server properties or do i put local host in minecraft

i have. but ive tried that and minecraft thinks the server is non existant

leave the ip open? oh, another problem im having while im trying to load into a single player world, my minecraft derps and thinks its loading into a server and it fails and instead of ending up in the singleplayer menu i end up in the server menu xc it miightt be one of my mods... i want to load into a single player world so i can have a world file i can use for the server with bioms o plenty n such

it only crashes when i put the ip in but how do i let it figure out its own ip? and how do i get that ip?
