  1. Ah ok, it works with the new launcher, that's annoying.
  2. Yes, is that a problem?
  3. I did that and still same error. Here's the log file for installer: forge-1.14.4-28.1.0-installer.jar.log
  4. The folder is there, with some .json thing inside of it, but no .jar file.
  5. Oh woops, it rewrote the .log file after I clicked it to check, here's what it says after installtion:
  6. The "forge-1.14.4-28.1.0-installer.jar.log" one? It just says inside.
  7. I just downloaded the forge installer from the forge website. Picked install client on the prompt and gave it my .minecraft path.
  8. So when I try to start minecraft from launcher using forge, it gives me some error about downloading the .jar file. I tried going to the s3.amazon database link to manually download, but it says access denied.
  9. So I've trying to get an old mod working, but it only works with 1.7.10, and after installint 1.7.10 and the correct corresponding forge version, it tells me the .jar file for forge is unable to be downloaded because it's "denied". I asked the devs to maybe upload a copy or unblock but for some reason they don't want to, so does anyone happen to own the jar file they could upload?

  11. So I'm trying to get a mod to install, but that mod hasn't been updated since minecraft version 1.7.10. Installing forge for 1.7.10 worked fine, but after launching the launcher, it says it can't acess the database to download the .jar file. Can you enable access to it or at least upload a copy here or something?
