[1.12.2]*SOLVED*How to create iron block like crafting
Hey, I know it's probably a pretty simple thing to ask but couldn't find it anywhere so I thought I'd ask here but how do you make a shapeless crafting recipe with only 1 ingredient cause all my attempts on making one have failed, do you need multiple ingredients? Is there another type of crafting method? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Eclipse not running Minecraft on "run" button *SOLVED*
Hey, I'm new to modding Minecraft and don't really know my way around eclipse. For some reason, when I press the "run" button in my project which according to this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f0zXArplb9Y around 20:01 should run Minecraft straight from eclipse, brings me to run configurations instead. 1. Is there something I didn't set up right? 2. Does it mean I just have to configure my own way to run it? Please help, thanks!

Ok, thanks! I just heard over and over that people reckon that 1.7.10 was the best version for modding.

Oops sorry didn't realise, just jumped at the opportunity finally finding a place like this, so what version of Java (I'm assuming its JDK right?) for 1.7.10?

Setting up with Eclipse for modding
Hey, decided to start attempting to mod Minecraft finally but ran into an error while trying to decompile minecraft into my project with the .\ gradlew setupDecompWorkspace command with JAVA_HOME not pointing to the JDK or something, I'm just wondering if it could be the versions of what I'm using: Gradle 2.0 (automatically installed once I ran the commands) JDK 13 (it was the latest so I installed it without thinking and the one I'm most curious if it's the cause) I say this because I set the JAVA_HOME to point to the JDK and it came up with something like "can't obtain version from '13' (the version on the end). I just don't know and it would be a great help if someone knows the answer! This was the tutorial I was using: https://blog.usejournal.com/a-beginners-guide-to-modding-minecraft-9a42536495f6
